This position is responsible for providing high-quality service to guests in a fast-paced environment while adhering to all applicable local laws and university policies regarding alcohol sales and service. **Responsibilities** + Serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with state laws, university policies, and venue regulations. + Verify customer age and identification in accordance with state alcohol laws. + Process payments efficiently using a point-of-sale ( POS ) system. + Maintain a clean and organized service area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. + Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines, recognizing signs of over consumption and refusing service when necessary. + Provide friendly, professional customer service, ensuring a positive guest experience. + Work efficiently in a high-volume setting, handling large crowds and long lines. + Assist with setup, stocking, and closing duties as needed. + Comply with all workplace safety policies and stadium event protocols. **Minimum Qualifications** + Must be at least 21 years of age. + Valid alcohol server certification/license (as required by state law). + Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on customer service. + Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs. + Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as scheduled per event needs. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Previous experience in food & beverage service, bartending, or stadium/event concessions preferred. + Experience working in a stadium, arena, or large event venue. + Knowledge of state liquor laws and responsible alcohol service. + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. + Familiarity with POS systems and cash-handling procedures.
