THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Temporary Unclaimed Property Claims Examiner I, you will examine and evaluate claim information and pertinent documentation submitted by claimants to substantiate ownership and entitlement for unclaimed property claims. Claims will be evaluated in accordance with established policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for contacting companies to obtain clarification necessary to complete the claims process. As a member of the Unclaimed Property Call Center, you will assist with a high volume of claimant calls related to unclaimed property in a knowledgeable, pleasant and professional manner. This role involves providing excellent customer service and crafting professional emails and verbal responses to claimants and the public. You must possess good judgment and maintain professionalism.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time, Temporary employment.
+ Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
+ Telework: After the successful completion of the training period, you may be eligible to a mandatory 3 days a week in the office and work from home (telework) up to 2 days a week. Management may discontinue the telework arrangement at any time, for any reason. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed Internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will report daily to your headquarters location. The location where you perform your telework must be located within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ Three years of experience in general office work;or
+ Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
+ This position requires candidates to be physically able to hear and understand phone callers and to sit at a workstation for prolonged periods of time.
+ This position requires candidates to be able to articulate clearly and loudly enough to be easily heard and understood on the telephone.
Additional Requirements:
+ You must have experience using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
+ You must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
+ You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
+ Full-time experience providing customer service in a Call Center
+ Experience managing a claims caseload
