We’re looking for a Communications Coordinator who will have the opportunity to write creatively and tactically to deliver successful internal communications through a range of platforms and channels.
Our corporate headquarters is located in Chicago, IL; this role is hybrid.
Responsibilities:Writes copy and prepares messages for company communications, particularly focusing on our corporate Product & Marketing and Weekly News newsletters, to increase readership through captivating design and messaging.Interviews individuals for organizational announcements.Works on social media / ad copy with Marketing for LinkedIn/design.Learns email-tracking software, Staffbase, utilizing it for email distribution and tracking.Learns the administration of company intranet and updates information.Assists with company Town Hall meetings.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications & Requirements:Academic work towards a bachelor’s degree in communications or related field requiredTeam playerWillingness to learn new communication platformsStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsComputer skills with Microsoft Suite knowledgeUnderstanding of MS Teams preferredLawson Products is an Equal Opportunity Employer of women, minorities, protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
