Smithbucklin, a 650-person, employee-owned professional services company with more than 70 years of success serving the association market, is looking for an experienced and dynamic Corporate Recruiter (3-month temporary assignment) to join the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition team in our Chicago office. The Corporate Recruiter will join these efforts by applying innovative and resourceful recruiting strategies to meet hiring initiatives within our high-energy, highly matrixed professional services environment.

What You Will Do
• You will take ownership of and execute a full life-cycle recruitment function for multiple office locations, experience levels, and client-facing units with varying functional expertise (to include marketing and communications, public relations, healthcare, education, technology, operations, and membership support)
• You will successfully lead a highly consultative and strategic interview and hiring process, including facilitating constructive intake meetings, developing strategic talent sourcing strategies, conducting in-depth phone and in-person interviews, and managing the offer process for permanent hire roles
• You will effectively manage and hire candidates in searches for entry-, mid-, and managerial- roles across multiple industries and functional units
• You will provide a high-level candidate experience by responding to questions professionally and timely and assisting/coordinating any other candidate needs
• You will optimize networking opportunities with candidates on social platforms, employee referrals, agency submissions, and other professional avenues to strengthen the applicant pool
• You will attend events networking events to build contacts and source new talent; events may include career fairs and informational sessions on college campuses
• You will build our talent pipeline by continuously sourcing and recruiting candidates for current and future needs
• You will foster and grow relationships that develop into true business partnerships between hiring managers, high-level executives, and third-party agencies; support internal clients with achieving the growth goals of their business(es)
• You will maintain personal metrics and deliver accurate reporting
• You are results-driven with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding expectations; successful candidates will demonstrate a history of preparedness and professionalism under pressure
• You have the ability to succeed in an environment with changing expectations, assignments, and responsibilities within a highly matrixed, dynamic, and fast-paced work environment
• You possess the ability to identify top talent through the use of strong investigative and research skills outside of traditional sourcing strategies
• You efficiently manage and close out requisition loads of 10-15+ active openings
• You exhibit advanced consumer marketing skills and persuasive phone techniques
• You display strong written and verbal communication skills Basic Qualifications
• A minimum of two+ years of experience within the recruiting/talent acquisition function, including experience in a corporate or agency environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with the Jobvite ATS
• Experience sourcing passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and Handshake
• Proficiency with basic computer programming, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams) Where Do You Fit?

Smithbucklin considers several factors when determining compensation, including a candidate's recent coursework, training, experience, and certifications, among other considerations. The expected pay for this role is $70,000-$72,000.
