We are currently looking for a Temporary HRIS Analyst for our team in Bloomfield Hills, MI. The Temporary HRIS Analyst will focus on data analytics including creating dashboards, analyzing data to provide recommendations, and complete service requests for the UKG HRIS system. 

What are the responsibilities of the Temporary Data Analytics/HRIS Analyst?

Analyze work process design and flow, improve processes and leverage the return on technological capabilities, play a key role in providing business systems analysis “best practices” regarding usage implementation and integration of all HR and HRIS systems, and will work effectively with peers to set technology priorities and conduct long-term planning. Serve as a technical point-of-contact and assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities and support HRMS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned and especially with the connectivity between the HRIS, ERU Learning and Common Directory platforms. Generates reports/queries, including writing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Including key HR dashboards across the country.    Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.  Coordinates to identify root causes of and solutions to data integrity and system performance issues.  Performs system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of HRMS system upgrades or patches.   Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintains HRMS system tables.   Provides production support, including researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.  Recommends process improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy, which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.  Will be a 90-day minimum assignment with possible future potential.

What are the role requirements?

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.  At least 4 years related experience required.  Proficiency working with HRIS, databases and reporting applications (UKG (formerly UltiPro) preferred). Solid working knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, with at least an intermediate working level of Excel.  Previous Power BI experience preferred. Understands and uses qualitative/quantitative measurement and data collection design principles.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  Ability to work independently and with a team.
