Summary\:

 

This temporary 12-month position is an entry-level, part-time IT trainee experience that will assist in supporting the Temple University ITS Department in its mission to provide customer-focused technological support, resources, and innovative solutions to students, faculty, staff, alumni, retirees, emeriti, vendors, guests, and community members. Trainees will experience and receive training from multiple divisions in the ITS Department, including, but not limited to, The Digital Equity Center, The Computer Recycling Center, and the ITS TSC, among others. Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Required Education & Experience\:

 

Some related computer/technical experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

 

 

Required Skills & Abilities\:

 

·        Documented strengths in written, oral, and interpersonal communication.

·        Documented strengths in customer service, in-person and telephone skills, along with the ability to interact with a diverse group of students, faculty, staff, guest and community members

·        Solid working knowledge of PC and Mac system configuration, troubleshooting, and hardware and software installation

·        Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office\: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams

·        Ability to work weekends, if necessary.
