Temporary Legal Secretary

A well-established law office is seeking a highly organized and efficient Temporary Legal Secretary for a 1-2 month assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal terminology, administrative and clerical tasks, and receptionist duties. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage a variety of tasks in a busy legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative and Clerical Duties: Perform general administrative tasks, including but not limited to filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Receptionist Duties: Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and manage the reception area to ensure a welcoming and professional environment.
Document Management: Reformat legal documents, scan documents, and ensure all paperwork is accurately processed and organized.
Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule conference room bookings for meetings and client appointments.
Support Legal Staff: Assist attorneys and paralegals with various tasks as needed, utilizing legal terminology and prior experience to efficiently support the team.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a legal secretary role or similar position.
Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
