Temporary Office File Clerk

A growing company is currently hiring a temporary Office/File Clerk. The hours will be full time Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The project is expected to last at least 3 months. This position may become permanent. The pay is $22 per hour.

There is opportunity for growth in this role or potential to be considered for other departments. The company provides paid training. This is a fast paced working environment. Business casual dress attire and friendly coworkers. The company is seeking someone who has office skills and is willing to commit to the entire length of this project.

The File Clerk is responsible for pulling invoices and shipping documents from drawers and boxes, scanning them, and filing the documents back. You must be comfortable using standard office equipment as well as performing basic data entry and clerical duties. Other tasks as assigned.

Experience is not required, however, the ideal applicant will already possess accounts payable and accounts receivable skills and have recent experience in accounting.

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for: Creating new client invoices. Invoices range from basic invoicing to complex invoices. Tracking receivables and informing the office manager/bookkeeper of delinquent accounts. Running reporting through Excel on a daily basis and also performing weekly and end of month reporting for bookkeepers review. You may be asked to assist on special projects with the bookkeeper or outside CPA as well as assisting the payroll department on special projects when needed.
