Temporary Payroll Clerk

Adecco is assisting a client in their search for a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join their team for a 2-month term, with an immediate start and weekly pay at $21.76 an hour.
The ideal candidate will have prior payroll experience and preferably be familiar with ADP systems. This is a remote position, with a preference for candidates located within the Central Standard Time (CST) zone. Please note that candidates from the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone will not be considered for this role.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Process and administer payroll for employees in an accurate and timely manner
+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding payroll
+ Utilize ADP payroll system to input, review, and process payroll data
+ Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits
+ Verify timesheets and ensure accuracy of hours worked
+ Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed
+ Assist with month-end and year-end payroll closing activities
+ Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
**Qualifications:**
+ Prior experience in payroll processing
+ Familiarity with ADP payroll software is highly preferred
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
+ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
+ Preferred: Experience working in the Central Standard Time (CST) zone
**Pay Details:** $21.00 to $21.76 per hour
