OR Associate’s Degree in a scientific field related to the job, plus seven (7) years of relevant experience;
OR Master’s degree with major course work in a scientific field related to the job, plus two (2) years of relevant experience.
Licenses and Certifications Required: Valid Texas Class “C” Driver’s License. Position Overview
This position is responsible for conducting plan reviews, performing inspections, initiating enforcement, and issuing plan approvals and permits to ensure customer projects comply with applicable pretreatment regulations for general, categorical, and Significant Industrial Users. This position will be responsible for carrying and responding to an emergency pager, on a rotating one-week schedule.

Driving Requirement: This position requires a Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License or the ability to acquire one by your hire date. External New Hires must meet the City of Austin’s Driver Record Evaluation (DRE) requisite. To be considered for a driving position, applicants cannot have more than three moving violations or a total of six Driver Record Evaluation points within a period of thirty-six (36) months. This position will be required to travel to and collect samples from regulated entities.

You must provide proof of education from an accredited organization/institution and proof of your professional licenses or certifications.
