Temporary Program Specialist, Industry Engagement - 250026 : N/A

Description

Assist the IEEE Industry Engagement Committee and other industry engagement efforts as programs grow. Good communication and project management skills are required. This position is expected to interact with internal colleagues and IEEE volunteers around the world. With direction and oversight from Senior Director, Public Imperatives and Corporate Development:

• Schedule meetings, prepare draft agendas, manage task lists from meetings;
• Track customer inquiries, the status of proposals, and customer deliverables for the IEEE Premier corporate program;
• Support quarterly Industry Newsletter;
• Update IEC and Industry websites as needed;
• Create additional communications materials, such as PowerPoint slides, as needed;
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as intake of project proposals and processing reports of completed projects;
• Other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

 

• 3 years of administrative experience
• Prior experience working in an international environment preferred
• Project management experience a plus
• Prior experience in a professional association a plus
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Detail-oriented
• Flexible and a quick learner
• Proficient in Google Apps and Microsoft Office. Wordpress and/or SmartSheet a plus.
