Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant for the department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

A Temporary Research Assistant is needed in the Orthopaedics Research Laboratory to perform biomechanical testing on musculoskeletal tissues and tissue-derived implants, using an Instron biomechanical testing machine.  This position is essential in order for Dr. Dunn to successfully complete the ongoing DoD project on total meniscus replacement and to collect data for upcoming grant proposals.   

Among the key duties of this position are the following: Perform biomechanical testing on Instron. Analyze biomechanical data using appropriate statistical methods. Prepare and provide full biomechanical testing reports to Dr. Dunn. Performs other related duties as assigned.
