Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant within the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. This individual will work under the supervision and direction of the Principal Investigator. The Temporary Research Assistant will help the lab team to conduct and execute research experiments, order supplies, and perform other research tasks in the lab.
Among the key duties for this position are the following:
Cultures mammalian cell lines and humans induced pluripotent stem cells and embryonic cells. Performs standard experiments in the lab: Microscopy, electrophoresis, OCR western blotting and ChIP seq. Performs standard lab procedures involved in making required tests and analyses. Assists in preparing culture media, reagents, stains and stock solutions. Assists in packing, unpacking, storing, and classification of lab supplies and specimens. Position Status Part Time Hours Per Week Daily Work Shift Work Arrangement This position requires a fully on-site work arrangement.
