About the Position:
The Temporary Resources and Development Assistant is responsible assisting with the operations of the Amity Foundation Resources and Development department by performing varied administrative duties aiding in day-to-day administrative and warehouse support of the Director of Development as well as the entire department.
Job Type: Part Time TemporaryPosition: Non-ExemptHourly:$20.00Location Los Angeles Work Shift – Monday- Friday 8:00a-2:30pm 6 month assignment
What You Will Do:Schedule all donation pickups with the teamOrganize warehouse operations.Generate a physical inventory of all incoming goods.Catalog merchandise by size, and box up for storage. Make sure shelves are restocked and dusted weekly.Assist in all event planning and fundraising activities.Perform any additional tasks and projects as deemed necessary for the smooth operation of the in-kind donation services, and fundraising events
What You Will Bring:
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of warehouse operations. Ability to maintain confidential information. Ability to operate general office equipment. Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision. Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during long shifts. Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move stuff around Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
