**Department: School of Medicine, Dean's Office, IT Shared Services**
**Job Title: Information Technology Professional**
**This is a Temporary position limited to no more than 9-months.**
**Job Summary:**
Key Responsibilities:
+ Installing, configuring, and maintaining personal computers (PC and Mac).
+ Troubleshooting hardware, software, network and systems to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
+ Interacting with users to determine problems, analyze situations, identify the source of the problems, determine appropriate solutions and take proper actions required to solve the problems.
+ Performing a variety of maintenance, evaluation, and training tasks to ensure optimal computer performance and user experience.
+ Windows 11 Rollout
+ Assist IT Professionals with upgrading compatible computers to Windows 11.
+ Troubleshoot issues that arise from upgrades.
+ Assist with replacing, configuring, troubleshooting, and deploying computers that are not compatible with Windows 11
+ Work with customers to develop exception plans for computers that are not compatible with Windows 11.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ A bachelor's degree in computer science, management/computer information systems, computer engineering, information technology, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
**_Preferred Qualifications:_**
+ _Experience providing desktop support and customer service._
+ _Experience working with a wide range of computer systems._
+ _Experience providing hand on technical training and support to users._
+ _Experience supporting information technologies in an academic environment._
