About the Opportunity 

We are looking to hire an experienced and highly motivated Temporary Works Coordinator to join a multidisciplinary project delivery team who are working on construction projects on a regulated nuclear site, Hinkley Point C. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage in high level projects with some of Amentum’s most exciting clients and be at the forefront of offering solutions that contribute to the Amentum global vision of an integrated, connected, and sustainable world. 

Successful candidates will work closely with the team’s Construction Managers and Supervisors to assist in the preparation and setting out of temporary works on construction sites and projects, as well as offering technical advice to subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives. Candidates should have experience in the following\:

•    Planning and designing detailed Temporary Works builds 
•    Ensuring all Temporary Works aligns with CDM 2015 regulations
•    Extensive knowledge of construction techniques and Temporary Works
•    Proven experience managing Temporary Works projects
•    High levels of IT literacy
•    Analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Reporting and documenting to team leads and higher 
•    Experience managing multiple projects at once

Here’s What You’ll Need 

Experience and qualifications\:

•    Experience working on construction projects, regulated site experience preferred
•    Strong understanding of BS 5975\: 2019
•    Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Lead TWC in an engineering construction environment.
•    Certification from the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) as a Temporary Works Coordinator.
•    Familiarity with CDM Regulations 2015
•    Proven experience working on complex Temporary Works Projects
•    Ability to obtain minimum SC clearance
•    UK Driving License and Ability to Work in the UK
