Position Purpose
Saint Alphonsus is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Patient Care Technician to join the team at the Ten Mile Surgery Center in Meridian, Idaho.
At the Ten Mile Surgery Center, Patient Care Technicians support clinical operations by performing a variety of tasks including room turnover, rooming patients, escorting patients to their vehicle post-procedure and more. This position has the opportunity to cross train in the Operating Room, Materials and Sterile Processing.
Position Highlights
Schedule: Position is scheduled for 40 hours a week in Meridian, Idaho, just off the 10 Mile exit. Shifts are scheduled Monday-Friday on day shift. Must be currently enrolled in high school, in process of completing a GED, or has already obtained a high school diploma or GED.Must be BLS certified from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.Valid Drivers License may be required.What You Will Do
Assist licensed clinical staff by performing patient care activities as assigned by the nurse.Participate in continuous surveillance, rounding or monitoring for safety.Offer compassion and patience as an essential member of the healthcare team by answering call lights, greeting patients, stocking supplies, turning over rooms, mobilizing patients and more.Highlights and Benefits
