What impact you’ll make

As a member of the Aeroderivative Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the technical execution of bids and proposals, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, business objectives, and industry standards. This role involves managing the tendering process, overseeing technical evaluations, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver competitive and compliant proposals.

Job Description

What you’ll do

Manage and oversee the technical aspects of tendering, ensuring all proposals are optimized for performance, cost, and risk mitigation.Oversee costing, risk assessment, and technical feasibility for bids, ensuring alignment with business and customer expectations.Review and interpret customer specifications, scope deviations, grid codes, and local compliance standards, ensuring all proposals meet regulatory and technical requirements.Drive technical solution development in collaboration with Sales, Applications Engineering, Performance Engineering, Sourcing, and Product Development teams.Ensure optimization of product configurations and package customizations while mitigating risksConduct cost estimations, technical feasibility assessments, and risk analyses to support competitive and executable project proposals.Define and optimize Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) package configurations, identifying customizations and value-engineering opportunities to enhance customer solutions.Collaborate with Sales, Commercial, and Engineering to ensure preferred configurations are embedded in the ITO process.Act as a technical interface, providing pre-sales support, engaging with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to drive alignment and proposal success.Work closely with broader engineering teams (Applications Engineering, Performance Engineering, Requisition Engineering, and Product Development), as well as Commercial, Sales, and Business Development teams to optimize technical solutions.Drive continuous improvement in tendering processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and competitiveness.Act as a key liaison between engineering, commercial teams, suppliers, and customers, ensuring a smooth flow of technical information and alignment across all stakeholders.Support negotiations with customers and stakeholders by providing technical insights and justifications.Ensure seamless and high-quality project handovers from ITO (Inquiry-to-Order) to OTR (Order-to-Remittance), focusing on execution efficiency, risk management, and minimizing project uncertainties.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field); Master’s degree is a plus.5-8 years of experience in technical execution of bids and proposals for power generation or industrial systems.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $111,200.00 - 148,300.00 - 185,400.00 USD Annual.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive 15% performance bonus.

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. This position will stay open on the career website until at least February 12, 2025
