Experienced in producing high level and detailed solution designs, including multi-environment configurations including DR options
Demonstrating ability to relate business problems to the underlying data and the ability of Data Warehouse technology to solve the business problems
Understanding, documenting and articulating the customer s current data warehouse/data mart architecture. This includes a complete inventory of the customer s data warehouses and datamarts as well as their respective business functions
Understanding competitive products such as Oracle, IBM, Netezza, HP, etc.
Understanding mainframe and client/server computing environments
Full life cycle experience (requirements gathering through production deployment) in all aspects of BI/DW (ETL, data modeling, analytics and reporting)
Strong problem investigation skills
