Terminal Truck Coordinator

PURPOSE The primary role of the Terminal Truck Coordinator is to facilitate smooth and efficient operations while providing excellent service to truck drivers and ensuring their orders are processed accurately and timely. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Below is a list of essential duties of this position. NOTE: Other duties may be assigned as needed. + Greets and assists truck drivers as they arrive at the terminal for loading or unloading. + Receives and processes orders from truck drivers, entering them into the terminal's computer system. + Compiles necessary paperwork such as Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), certificates of analysis, or other required documentation. + Coordinates with terminal operators to fulfill orders, ensuring that the correct products are loaded onto the trucks. + Answers questions and addresses concerns from truck drivers regarding their orders, loading procedures, or any other inquiries. + Monitors the loading process to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety protocols. + Provides assistance with paperwork and invoices, ensuring accurate documentation for each transaction. + Communicates with truck drivers regarding tank truck levels and any relevant information related to their shipments. + Provide back-up and relief for other positions as appropriate. + Maintain confidentiality of all corporate, personnel and research matters. + Employee shall comply with applicable regulatory and company health, safety, environmental, and security requirements. + Employee is expected to complete required training in a timely manner; perform duties in a safe and environmentally sound manner; and immediately report injuries/illnesses, environmental spills/releases, and any unsafe acts or conditions to supervision in support of continual improvement of The Company's health, safety, environmental, and security performance. Working Conditions and Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the individual is often exposed to a variety of weather conditions, including rain and heat/cold, noise, fumes, grease, oil, noxious odors, cleaning chemicals, paints, glues, and solvents. Approximately 30% of the workday is outdoors. Physical Requirements/Activities: This position involves standing, bending, stooping, walking, and climbing. Frequently the employee is required to kneel, bend, crawl, crouch, push, pull, lift, or twist. Occasionally the employee is required to lift or exert force of more than 50 pounds. Frequently, the employee is required to lift or exert force of up to 25 pounds. Specific vision ability required is close vision of 20 inches or less and vision ability of greater than 3 feet.
