The Terrain Park Groomer - Level 3 will operate SnowCat equipment, perform all grooming and feature building as defined by the Innovative Environments and Mountain ops leadership team. This individual is methodical, creative, and takes pride in everything they build. This operator is a central part of our brand, from grooming corduroy to park builds ranging from progression to our Pop Up Parks and everything in between.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist terrain park builds with design and construction for terrain park, halfpipe and event set upsNightly maintenance and upkeep of terrain parks to maintain the highest quality productComplete pre and post operation snowcat inspections, fuel and maintenance logsCan complete push projects and other tasks efficiently and safelyProficient ability to operate a winchcat and ZuaggProvide training and guidance for Level 1 and 2 crew membersProvide input on training, standard and operating practicesLead terrain park grooming- assess parks and identify areas of improvementStrong attention to detailProfessional attitude and effective communication skillsProvide support and assist other departments when neededTrouble shoot and identify basic maintenance issues with snowcatsRespects co-workers and equipmentProvide feedback for vehicle maintenance when addressing cat issues or when machines are returned to operationComplete grooming reports and input new parks features when needed

Basic Requirements:

Must be able to work with hand and power tools

Must be in good physical shape.

Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Must be able to work rotating night shifts.

Must be able to work outside in adverse weather conditions on uneven terrain.

Must have good night vision.

Must have a valid US Driver’s License.

Must be at least 18 years old

4 years’ cat operations experience required

2 years’ Terrain Park building experience required

Trail grooming experience required

Must have strong skiing or snowboarding skills and have knowledge of freestyle skiing/riding

Preferred Experience and Special Skills:

Must be able to groom the whole park start to finish

Zaugg experience preferred

Winch experience preferred

Snowmaking experience preferred

Welding experience preferred

Half pipe experience preferred
