Terrain Park Lead Hand - Winter Seasonal

Are you a skilled rider who dreams about park features? We are looking to recruit a Terrain Park Lead Hand for the upcoming winter. You will work alongside the Terrain Park Supervisor and Operations Management to ensure Terrain Parks meets and exceeds safety regulations and quality standards. Are you a team player who has some supervisory experience? You will be training terrain park staff for standard operating procedures, proper maintenance techniques, and information recording. You are coordinating with grooming staff for night shift grooming tasks and with the Patrol/Duty Manager regarding proper fencing, hazard marking, and regular patrolling. Ensure Terrain Park staff have a constant list of tasks. Hands-on construction with Snow Cat in all Parks. Compensation Information:

$21.85 per hour

Physical Requirement:

Heavy, work activities involve handling loads of more than 20 kg; Predominately in an outdoor setting.

This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

Accountabilities:

Always maintain Terrain Park - in radio contact with dispatch Ensure proper Risk Management for Terrain Park, signage, and feature marking Ensure Terrain Park is manned 7 days per week Work in co-ordination with grooming to ensure the park is maintained Daily maintenance reports completed before the end of the shift Keep Terrain Park Supervisor, Slopes Manager and Patrol Director advised daily of all activities in Terrain Park Maintain a constant presence in the Terrain Park while on duty Approved Ski Helmet required when working on snow Personal communication device used. Not Permitted during working hours

Ideal Candidate:

Previous Terrain Park experience Knowledge of Terrain Park features, trends Knowledge of Risk management for Terrain Parks Terrain Park maintenance experience Able to always work with minimum supervision Supervise Terrain Park paid employees
