ResponsibilitiesAs a key member of our Donor Recruitment team, you will work within an established geographic territory (Brooklyn/Staten Island) with long term and new accounts and utilize your keen sales and customer service skills to maximize recruitment strategies to ensure that we meet/exceed monthly and annual blood collection goals for the hospitals that we serve.
Responsibilities:
Achieve assigned monthly collection goals while maximizing NYBC resources.Build and maintain strong, long lasting customer relationships with accounts in assigned territory to achieve blood collection goals.Answer queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers.Execute collections strategy, generate reports, and identify opportunities to increase collections volume while ensuring service levels are met. Implement blood drive schedules with attention to critical periods, calendar capacity and stability in order to maintain minimal disruption to operations and aid in timely communications between all parties.Increase the visibility of NYBC to broader audiences through account opportunities and active participation in community memberships, community events, and other forums.Expand existing relationships and identify new accounts and market segments and actively pursue them.Collaborate with key accounts and NYBC Customer Service Team where appropriate on growth opportunities for NYBC products and services.Establish plans, allocate resources and review progress on all the above and make corrections as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient blood drives.Work with internal and external customers to secure successful blood drives.Promote and implement marketing programs to establish new accounts and expansion of current drives.Monitor progress of blood drive to maximize use of NYBC resources and maintain monthly/yearly efficiency (blood drive projection/blood drive actual) QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Two years of experience in sales, marketing, communications, customer service or closely related field. A reliable vehicle and Driver's License.

All salaries are pursuant to Local 202 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Annual Salary: The salary for this position is $56,732.40 and after successful completion of a six-month probation period the salary increases to $60,934.80. In addition, there is a performance-based incentive program.
