The Opportunity

Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as a Territory Business Rep in Odessa or Midland, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for increasing commercial sales penetration throughout the designated territory with targeted growth of 0.3 - 0.5 OCPD (oil changes per day) and incremental operating profits.

How You'll Make a Difference

Develop New Commercial Accounts - identify prospective customers by utilizing market databases, targeted lists, and following on leads from stores in your territory. Complete scheduled and cold call prospecting activitiesAccount Management - Regularly contact Fleet Managers of existing accounts via telephone, email, or face-to-face.External Customer Support - Act as the first point of contact for issues or concerns of fleet customersInternal Customer Support - Act as the first point of contact for issues or concerns from Store OperationsOther duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experienceMinimum of three years of outside sales experience - preferably commercial (B to B) sales experienceGeneral business knowledge (ability to calculate gross profit, discounts, and expense management)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (significant communication with both internal and external customers)Decision quality - Ability to make decisions/recommendations based upon a mixture of facts, analysis, and experienceUse of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Saleforce.comMust be authorized to work in the U.S.
