The primary responsibilities of a Territory Manager include the following (other duties may be assigned):

Develops new business and maintain existing business by building and sustaining strong, trusting relationships with customers and prospectsPlans and organizes activities and resources so that sales goals are consistently met or exceededConducts speaker programs and educational symposiaDevelops business with targeted physicians including pulmonologists, rheumatologists, and cardiologistsProvides necessary information to customers including physicians, NPs, PAs, etc. to improve their knowledge of promoted products and the uses for which they are indicatedPrepares and executes Business Plan for targeted customer segmentsManages territory budgetCollaborates effectively with team members including Key Account Leader (KAL), District Manager (DM), Business Director (BD), Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Therapy Access Manager (TAM) Consistently utilizes all resources to monitor and manage business

Requirements:

BS / BA Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical field sales and/or 2 years (commercial) specialty experience in cardiovascular, rheumatologic and/or pulmonary disease statesWorking knowledge of managed careApproximate travel up to 75% of the timeAdheres to PhRMA, OIG, and corporate policies, and procedures

Preferences:

Specialty sales experience in either cardiovascular, rheumatologic, or pulmonary disease statesWorking knowledge of hospital salesProven track record of high performance Strong clinical knowledge of cardiopulmonary pathophysiology
