Territory Manager
The Territory manager is responsible for driving volume and profit growth using a balanced approach of new business and account management for existing clients within the territory. Maintaining and developing customer relationships through meeting sales targets/customers, prospecting new business and creating demand. RESPONSIBILITIES: New Business Development: + Responsible for aggressively developing pipeline of new business focused on stocking dealers and projects + Create pull through for dealer customers by working with their builder/contractor customers + Introduce new products and complementary products to existing and new customers + Develop and carry out strategies to increase market share of our products with new and existing customers + Execute and implement company promotions and programs + Prospect and develop new business targets/opportunities Account Management: + Responsible for maintaining and protecting existing dealer business + Train dealer sales teams on product knowledge and selling techniques + Provide merchandising support to dealer base + Address and resolve customer complaints and or claims + Set up and attend trades shows + Continue building relationships through excellent customer service and product resolution QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: + Strong customer service skills both in person and virtually + Self-motivated and functions well independently as well as within in a team + Ability to present to groups both large and small + Microsoft Office including hosting presentation + Have strong closing skills with customers and follow up on commitments + Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory as required + Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify and analyze key, market, customer, and competitive trends.
