Territory Sales Manager

Reporting to: Sales Manager Independents
Role
To develop and increase business by achieving the sales and margin targets along with volume turnover whilst representing the Company’s interest and connections out in the field. Grow sales, margin and shelf space within designated account base.
Key Responsibilities
To communicate Company and Divisional Strategy to all key people within designated account baseTo identify sales opportunities and negotiate to obtain orders which meet sales budget achievement and margin budget achievement to increase business turnover and profitTo undertake all administrative tasks in support of sales to meet departmental requirementsUse ClientLink and adhere to Commercial Excellence practicesTo plan and implement visits to new and existing customers to maintain awareness of the company’s product range and to gain understanding of competitor activity within the marketTo be a champion of their own customers and meet specific customer needs in order to provide the best possible servicePrepare account plans for high spending customers and monitor and send present monthlyArrange quarterly business reviews with all 100 club customersRepresent PPG at Exhibitions and Trade Shows as requiredResponsibility for collection of debt in relation to “Receivables” projectTo cover for other TSM’s – Stockists, as requiredWork within the PPG Company valuesField Based 75%- 80% of timeKnowledge, Skills & QualificationsEducated to ‘A’ level standard or equivalent2-4 years Sales ExperienceCommercial business acumenNegotiating SkillsCommunication SkillsProduct KnowledgeCompany Operations KnowledgeComputer Skills; Outlook, Excel; PowerPointFull Driving LicenceAdditional Features
