You will have access to:** **Career development with an international company where you can grow the career you dream of .** **Amazing health and wellness benefits and perks.** **A company recognized as a great place to work in dozens of countries around the world and named one of the most admired companies in the world by Fortune.** **A company that is recognized as one of the best big companies to work for as well as a best place to work for diversity, working mothers, female executives, and scientists.** **As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.** **This role is responsible for maximizing sales volume and market share of designated products within an assigned territory.** **Responsibilities:** **Complete low voltage, high voltage, and CRT product certification.** **Achieve sales targets and increase market share for assigned territory.** **Actively implement and execute on sales force effectiveness initiatives to help drive business growth and sales skills development including strategic territory and account planning, customer profiles and sales training.** **Utilise available sales analysis tools to assist in territory planning.** **Develop relationships with and service key customer groups, identify and utilise key customer networks.** **Support implantation, post-operative and clinics of pacemakers, defibrillators & CRT devices within your territory.** **Utilise internal resources to assist servicing customers within your territory.** **Manage your consignment stock.** **Maintain accurate customer profiles.** **Maintain up to date product knowledge and actively participate in education programs.** **Assist with product marketing and launches.** **Provide market feedback on product and competitor activity.** **Attend to/comply with customer service and other administrative requirements within the required timeframe.** **Attend company sales meetings and customer events as required.** **Ensure maintenance of company property/assets.** **Have a sound understanding of, and comply with, the industry (MTAA) the Abbott Code of Conduct and Company Compliance requirements.** **Handle and document customer complaints according to Abbott ANZ Field Event Reporting Standard Operating Procedure.** **Knowledge of and commitment to the requirements of the Quality Management System.** **Knowledge of and commitment to Work, Health & Safety responsibilities.** **Action any other customer complaints with relevant Abbott ANZ Business Unit.** **Execute the position and Business Unit responsibilities according to applicable Abbott ANZ Standard Operating Procedures.** **Perform other related functions and responsibilities as directed by Manager** **.** **Minimum Education** **Tertiary qualifications in Biomedical, Engineering, Medical Science, Human Movement related field (Coronary Care Nursing/Cardiac Technician) is essential.** **Minimum Experience and Skills** **Good understanding of the industry process and function** **Ability to convincingly discuss the industry process and function with customers, as well as internal and external experts.** **IBHRE Certified preferred** **Quality, Safety & Environmental Responsibilities** **Attend regular departmental meetings with manager/supervisor to build in continuous feedback mechanisms.** **Meet the requirements of ISO by complying with all relevant Quality policies and procedures to ensure the Quality objectives of the business are met.** **Comply with all relevant company Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and work practices with the intent of preventing or minimizing accidental exposures to self, colleagues and/or the environment.** An Equal Opportunity Employer Abbot welcomes and encourages diversity in our workforce.
