Territory Manager

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
100% Territory Sales:
Responsible for all sales in territory including curriculum, practice tests and certification licenses. Responsible for existing customers and net new accounts. Comfortable cold calling into accounts and increasing the product footprint with existing accounts. Provide customer solutions and presentations – on the phone and in person. Close new sales and renewals over the phone. Responsible for following up and qualifying all leads assigned to the territory. Overcome objections and resolve concerns with customers. Support all tradeshow and education meetings in territory. Responsible for speaking at educational events. Train new teachers on getting started and success with certification. Travel to territory to provide personal development to schools.Position will travel 20% to 30%
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Must have a proven track record in Sales. Must have impressive presentation skills. Education experience preferred. Microsoft Office Certification Preferred Industry Recognized Certifications PreferredEducation and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years sales experience Sales or sales support experience in the education or learning products market a plus Sales Targets with Quota experienceKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Performance driven and results oriented Work well under heavy sales pressure Enjoys working with others Self-motivated—able to work independently to achieve Certiport and individual sales goals Excellent oral, written, time management and presentation skillsCompensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
Minimum full-time salary range is between $55,000 - $120,000.
