Territory Manager - South Korea
Overview Business Contribution: Provide overall sales growth and penetration with end user customers and distributors in the South Korea marketplace. Key Responsibilities: Develop, deploy and execute channel management and key end user plans. Manage distribution network. Responsible for annual sales targets and sales growth. Responsible for the effective promotion of assigned products including creation of presentation material and executing sales calls. Maintain current knowledge of the marketplace through regular contact with customers and distributors. Continuously evaluate effectiveness of distribution network. Produce an annual sales plan encompassing strategy pertinent to sales growth. Maintain a positive working relationship with office personnel. Maintain an attitude and appearance commensurate with that of a thoroughly professional salesperson. Maintain company property (demonstration stock, promotional items, etc.) in excellent condition. Submit accurate expense reports monthly. Coordinate with Customer Service and Warehouse in Korea on the timely delivery of orders. Required Capabilities: Ability to manage concurrent projects independently and in a team environment. Aptitude with mechanical engineering-based products Experience in selling industrial tools or machinery Preferably proven sales track record from the industrial hydraulics tools or related industries in Korea. Good contacts with companies or strong working experience in distribution sales in industrial engineering products. Strong organizational, written, oral and professional skills. Computer skills of Microsoft Office and presentational PowerPoint skills. Ability to work independently. Must have good communication skills in spoken and written Korean and is able to at least converse in English. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing, Engineering or equivalent related field Knowledge of industrial distribution and business strategies; At least 8 years of experience in territory management, sales automation, or sales management software preferred.
