Territory Manager - TCD

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, seeks a Territory Manager to join its industry leading sales team.  You will develop, service, and manage a territory of Commercial Laundry accounts to provide timely and cost-effective textile care solutions. The position will strive to understand customer operations, identify challenges and, devise appropriate solutions to meet customer needs. With a focus on developing partnerships and exceptional relationships, the Territory Manager will provide prompt, reliable and personalized service.  Further, the Territory Manager will prospect for new clients and accounts to achieve the company sales growth objectives.

What You Will Do:  

Develop strategic work plans for completing sales and service/consultation calls with new and existing customers  

Partner with plant managers and other key personnel to understand their operations and laundry challenges  

Prepare and deliver sales presentations on Ecolab's innovative laundry products and chemicals, processes & programs to increase your customers operating efficiencies  

Cultivate long-term relationships that will lead to increased sales  

Provide extensive hands-on product and solution training  

Leverage your technical aptitude as you troubleshoot laundry machines and dispensing systems  

 

Position Details:   

This position is based in St. Paul, MN 

80% overnight travel required during the first year 

20% overnight travel required after year one 

 

Minimum Qualifications:   

High School diploma or equivalent 

2 years outside technical sales and service experience   

Position requires a current and valid driver’s license 

Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs

Physical Requirements:   

Drive a company vehicle as required to perform job duties (pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed to determine eligibility to drive a company vehicle)   

Ability to perform essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation   

   

Preferred Qualifications   

College Diploma or University Degree in a related field, such as business, engineering, chemistry, or science is preferred   

Education or experience in electrical, mechanical or plumbing field. 

Ability to work independently and set own schedule.
