ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the Sales Manager, the Territory Outside Sales Outside Salesperson will be part of a team of driven team members responsible for the acquisition, retention, and growth of our customers.
Make sales calls on installers, fleets, municipalities and car dealerships to sell auto parts, tools, shop equipment and programsBuild and maintain productive, long lasting relationships with existing customers, as well as actively pursue new customers“Get the Sale!” -Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales goals; source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve goals Foster and qualify new sales opportunities with new and existing customersRide with factory reps in order to gain product knowledge as well as use their relationships to help build yoursProvide weekly status reports to management team describing current business conditions, including opportunities and suggestions for improvement. Post daily CMS comments for each sales call with a brief summary of visit or touch.Play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of productsResearch sales competitionOther duties as assigned QualificationsPrior success selling wholesale auto parts in a highly competitive marketDemonstrated history of obtaining new business and retaining current customer baseAbility to travel within market territory (minimal overnight travel)Existing customer base is desirableAbility to pass a pre-employment screening and MVR requirements, where applicableStrong communication and time management skills The ability to work well in a team environmentAbility to analyze data, develop strategic plans, and improve financial resultsProficiency in MS Office and CRM software Multilingual, where applicable
