Territory Sales Manager

JOB SUMMARY

 

Must possess a tremendous insatiable drive to win, sell all Zodiac Pool System, Inc. Products, Programs and Services to existing Zodiac customers, and develop new customers and contacts for Zodiac Pool Systems, Inc. Provide service to internal and external customers in a timely, accurate, professional manner, with an emphasis on customer care and ensuring customer satisfaction.  Results oriented.

 

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Call on and sell Zodiac products, programs and services to: National accounts, pool builders, retail accounts, O.E.M.s, sales managers, sales people, plumbers and electricians.Attend trade shows and table tops – National, Regional, Local, NSPIMaintain ACT database of Zodiac customersTurn in paperwork on a timely basis (expense reports, monthly reports)

2. Sales

Sell programs and services in a positive and professional manner to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.  Develop sales demand to pull Zodiac products through territory distribution.Represent Zodiac Sales Department for specific or unusual accounts

(i.e., Sylvan, Blue Haven, Anthony, OEM’s, Carecraft, Aquatech, Fox dealers, etc.)

Work with management to keep them informed about any changes which may affect the territorySend literature via fax or mail upon requestFill out required forms for literature and special delivery sent via Shipping or Marketing departmentIncrease sales on a regular basisCompile lists of prospective customers in ACT for use as sales leads, based on information from business directories, and other sources and most important trade show leadsTravel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers on sales floor or by phoneDisplay or demonstrate product, using samples or catalogs and emphasize featuresQuote prices and credit terms and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained from distribution and national accountsEstimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm’s production and delivery schedulePrepare reports of business transactions and keeps expense account   OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to drive, read and write, sit, walk within the facility to access file cabinets, documents ,stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 10 pounds. They also occasionally move objects weighing up to 20 lbs., and sometimes, but rarely, up to 50 lbs.
