Territory Sales Representative

Job Description:

This is a remote-based role, with candidates ideally located in the Salt Lake City area. The territory is primarily Utah, but also includes Colorado and Arizona.

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for all sales activities in their assigned territory and is responsible for growing business within a market.

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.Identify and resolve client concerns.Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows.Follow-up for collection of payment.Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services.Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

 

An experienced sales professional with Automotive Refinish background and a strong track of successful customer support.Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 5 years of related work experience5 + years of direct selling experience with a track record of hitting or exceeding sales goalsExperience selling to or managing relationshipsStrong business development and prospecting skills and ability to quickly and effectively acquire new clientsStrong knowledge of the collision repair, commercial transportation and industrial business environment as well as distribution fundamentalsWorking knowledge Axalta’s core product lines and repair shop business fundamentalsDemonstrates effective written and oral communication skillsExcellent relationship building and presentation skillsMust possess strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skillsMust have strong work ethic and self-disciplineCompetent computer skills, proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the timeValid driver’s license requiredMust have reliable and well-maintained passenger vehicle.
