Job DescriptionThe ITW Contamination Control Electronics Territory Sales Representative will manage the sales/business development activities in Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky region/market to ensure attainment of the organization's sales growth objectives. S/he will implement all business strategies according to the organizations long range and annual business plans. Increase sales by focusing on sales activities at the end-user level to develop product specifications, approvals, and sales revenue. Work directly with the distribution channel and internal sales team to ensure program implementation and sales growth. Support distribution partners through joint sales calls, program development and marketing programs. Implement programs to successfully introduce new products and broaden product/market focus.
Ideal candidate will be located in Indiana, Michigan, or Ohio with a passion for on the road sales and customer interaction.
Essential Duties:
• Meet or exceed assigned sales budget by implementing ITW growth levers: Focused Selling, Core Market Expansion, Customer Back Innovation.
• Maintain sales responsibility for all assigned accounts and markets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with end users and distribution partners through direct meetings, telephone and email contact.
• Identify key end-users within assigned geography, who present significant and profitable sales opportunities. Develop sales at target accounts through problem identification; problem needs analysis, and product specification
• Introduce new products through direct interaction, providing training and support for distribution sales teams and end users
• Implement marketing and business plan programs as assigned. Provide feedback on key competitors and market trends. Evaluate and report on new market development potentials for existing products and propose new products for potential product development.
• Maintain an accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities utilizing the organizations Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
• Maintain a strong focus on opportunity development and driving sales to a successful close.
• Provide effective management of issues between end-users, distributors and ITW CC Electronics.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related field of study or equivalent degree and years of experience2+ years of experience selling into the industrial, electronics, automotive, avionics, or printed circuit board marketProficient with MS Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel.3+ years of sales / sales management experience in a business to business environmentDirect working experience with Distributors and or Manufacturing RepresentativesStrong technical aptitudeMust be able to multi-task, analyze situations quickly, and effectively utilize both internal and external resources.Effective verbal and written communicationOther Qualifications:Experience with chemical / specialty cleaning products preferredExperience with Salesforce.com or other CRM program preferredExperience utilizing Power BI or analytical software preferredAdditional InformationITW Contamination Control is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
