Job Description
This role involves acting as the Account Manager for our company's Domestic Customers, ensuring that quotations, orders, and shipping documentation are completed accurately and timely. The position serves as the front line for customer service with statewide customers, handling customer care by answering phones, taking and entering orders, and processing quote requests. The role includes working with customers to confirm quotes or orders and coordinating with the shipping team to fulfill orders on promised dates.
ResponsibilitiesProcess quotation requests received via phone, fax, email, or mail.Process purchase orders received via phone, fax, email, or mail.Notify customers with the correct pricing and shipment dates.Coordinate with customers on necessary document requirements.Help resolve document issues with international customers.Coordinate with the Stockroom for timely shipment of products.File all documents in accordance with Carrier’s Export Compliance Manual.Handle special projects as assigned by the aftermarket supervisor.Communicate with customers to understand their needs.Perform necessary follow-up and expediting to ensure on-time delivery.Assist other Customer Service Representatives with domestic operations when time allows.Provide accurate and timely customer service to ensure client satisfaction.Essential SkillsCustomer serviceData entryExport documentationOrder entryExcel data entrySalesDocumentation processAccount managementVendor managementOrder processing1+ years of relevant experienceComputer literacyProfessional communication skills (phone and in person)Professional writing skillsAbility to multi-taskSense of urgency to complete tasks and projects on timeProblem-solving abilitySelf-starter initiativePositive attitude towards company plans, policies, and objectivesAdditional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of export documentation is preferredCustomer service skillsExperience with SysproSales support experienceWork Environment
The position involves working in an office, seated at a desk in front of a computer and on the telephone for 99% of the time. The remaining 1% involves attending meetings. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
