Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Test Analyst for their team. They will work in the office 4 days a week and remote 1 day. Essential Functions: * Support end to end production and pre-production testing to identify operational impact and success for various programs impacting Order Entry platforms, Provisioning platforms, Activation platforms, Outage Management platforms and Digital Experience platforms * Support User Acceptance and Operational Readiness test analysis functions; With a focus on customer communications * Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer and agent experience * Develop test plans and coordinate end to end software testing * Develop test execution strategies considering operational and logistic needs * Develop relevant reporting for test efforts showing progress and defects utilizing relevant tools (Application Life Cycle Management, Octane, TestRail, Jira, SQL are possible tools/methods used for reporting) Day to Day expectations: Independently determine scope within a testing cycle: * Document test cases and publish a tactical plan for achieving success * Work with the project team to publish and negotiate the planned level of effort feeding into the project plan Independently execute the scope within a testing cycle: * Coordinate and execute the test cases published in the tactical plan; Including both independent testing and facilitating collaborative testing with additional operational resources (Field Technicians, Call Center Agents, etc.) * Publish test case execution status using Application Lifecycle Manager or comparable tool (Octane, Jira, TestRail) * Create and manage defects found during execution; Including Triage and Troubleshooting * Communicate directly with stakeholders of issues found and their impacts to a planned deployment
