**Test and evaluation manager** **Category:** Testing/Quality Assurance **Main location:** United States, Remote **Position ID:** J0225-0359 **Employment Type:** Full Time **Position Description:** CGI Federal is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Test and Evaluation Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has executed in agile design and development projects as an expert tester who designs test scripts and provides overall project guidance and planning support. They also have experience with safety testing, development of an innovative test approach (both manual and automated), and are comfortable leading a team of testers. This position can be located anywhere in the US, but the preferred locations are Fairfax, VA, Lafayette, LA, or Knoxville, TN. If you are located within 50 miles of a CGI Federal office, a hybrid working model is acceptable. **Your future duties and responsibilities:** Create and define the Test Strategy, inclusive of manual and automated testing, outlining how the testing is going to be performed. Own the comprehensive Test Plan that governs the test program to denote different types of testing required, the test approach, and the test governance criteria are in alignment with program requirements. Define test reporting matrices and criteria. Collaborate with each workstream to develop an understanding of the requirements and identify test scope for the project. Formulation of test team and guiding the team members regarding the testing techniques and expected output of testing. Define and set up the Test Management tools. Responsible to define the functional and non-functional test scope including the performance testing. Raise and track logged defects and track through resolution. Work closely with business users to confirm testing is performed correctly and covers the scope of work. Comfortable escalating defects as required in the project governance and escalation matrix. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment. Design and develop technical training courses, including instructor-led training (ILT), e-learning modules, and blended learning solutions. Create detailed course outlines, lesson plans, and instructional materials that align with project goals and user needs. Content Creation: Develop high-quality training content, including presentations, videos, hands-on labs, assessments, and user guides. Ensure that all training materials are clear, accurate, and aligned with the technical specifications of the mission system on GCP. Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other subject matter experts to gather technical information and understand the functionalities of the mission system. Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand training. **Required qualifications to be successful in this role:** 8-10 years previous experience as a Test Manager overseeing large-scale, complex projects is required. Good understanding of Test Management processes. Knowledge of managing business requirements and mapping them to Test Scenarios for test. Test data management experience. Analytical skill to develop comprehensive, reusable test cases for a variety of user scenarios. Knowledge of the Test Management tools to make project delivery smooth. Experience in Test Designing activities and ability to execute the test cases, as needed. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $111,600.00 - $219,600.00.
