You Are:

UST is looking for a Test Architect having strong experience leading large testing engagements which involves high level of test automation, data migration, ETL testing and non-functional testing. The candidate will design and architect Test Automation solutions using Python and Java based frameworks and has a strong overall knowledge on custom test automation frameworks architecture and BDD/ATDD concepts.

 

The opportunity:

·       Conduct test case reviews, provide project related status reporting, coordinate all release planning, and lead the testing team through all project phases 

·       Mentor new team members and leading team of 10+ associates

·       Defined strategy across functional and non-functional testing including functional automation, integration testing, performance testing. 

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       Strong experience in designing large enterprise level system integration testing stragegies

·       Preferred:  Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related discipline 

·       Good understanding & Real time experience on Designing Test Automation Framework supporting CI/CD process. 

·       Experienced in BDD Methodology using Cucumber tool. 

·       Strong experience with cloud platforms preferably AWS is a great plus. 

·       Experience with ETL testing frameworks is an advantage.

·       Minimum 12 years experience in an IT environment,

·       Deep understanding of Data validation frameworks, Automation frameworks, tools like Selenium and working knowledge of Java/Python 

·       Good experience in Designing Automation Framework. 

·       Minimum 6 years of experience in Test Automation and minimum 3 years’ experience in Test architect role 

·       Experience in managing cloud migration, modernization and transformation projects for at least one year 

·       Expertise in different phases of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including methodologies like Agile and Waterfall. 

·       Good Exposure to Testing Life Cycle and Bug Life Cycle.

·       Proven strong analytical and problem-solving skills - including requirements analysis, detailed planning, and risk assessment. 

·       Effective organizational and communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver technical presentations and tailor content to audience as appropriate. 

 

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Massachusetts

Compensation Range:   $82,000-$122,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
