Responsibilities Research and implement best practice solutions for various automated verification and validation processesDevelop test plan, data, and automation scriptsTranslate functional requirements and use cases into clear, concise, detail-oriented test plans/casesAssist in coding an automated framework in a TDD/BDD style approach Integrate various Continuous Integration/Deployment solutionsPerform manual verification as requested by team. Maintain and upkeep the implemented automated solution on a release basisVerify source code updates during each release for "Testability" and "Readability"Conduct detailed triage to identity potential defects and provide clear and concise “Steps to reproduce”Monitors the effectiveness of the testing function and brings about improvements through insights gained via analysis at all stages of the SDLC/STLCIdentify code specific edge cases and various breaking points as early detection during static verification of the codeDevelop test data upon request by internal development team. Review and identify manual test scripts that can be automated to save time and lessen the manual testing effortKnowledge of and ability to perform in an AGILE environmentAble to use independent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload.Use automated Quality Assurance systems to facilitate daily activitiesGather business requirements and develop manual test scripts Qualifications 3+ years of experience in software development or other equivalent experience3+ years of experience with automation application testing (Eggplant/Selenium) 3 years of experience delivering complex enterprise-wide information technology solutionsExperience with Object Oriented Design and Programming in a multithreaded agile environmentExperience with scripting in one or more languagesExpert Experience using Eggplant/SeleniumExpert experience building scripts within Eggplant3 years of experience in designing and implementing process solutions for automationExperience with Selenium based frameworks built in a TDD/BDD style approach e.g. JUnit, Serenity BDD, Cucumber, Gherkin etc.Experience with using IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA with various libraries like maven, ant etc.Experience with SCM solutions such as Git, SVN, Bitbucket etc.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated individual with an ability to work independently while delivering exceptional resultsStrong "can-do" attitude, willing to do what it takes to support the projectAn excellent team player with an ability to be effective in defining program changing processes in a continuous improvement mannerPreferred Skills:
