Job Description
We are looking for a capable and energetic Test Automation Software Engineer. The successful candidate will assist in the development, implementation, and improvement of software for sophisticated manufacturing test stations and the analysis of the data those stations generate. Due to the dynamic nature of our rapidly growing business, you will thrive in this role if you have a broad-based knowledge of engineering and product design, a good eye for detail, and the ability to think outside the box.
ResponsibilitiesDesigning, developing, and debugging test automation software.Collaborating with hardware engineers and software developers.Keeping updated with the latest industry developments.Providing subject-matter expertise on test equipment and test methods.Essential Skills- At least 2 years of solid experience (open to more). Open to entry level if you have strong internship/school projects with the below.Bachelor's degree in computer science or similarProficiency in writing software such as C# OR Python. (both will be great)A basic understanding of electronics.Citizen or Permanent Resident, or GC.Previous experience with automating electronics test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.)Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).Work Environment
The position is on-site in Midland and offers a direct hire opportunity. **Relocation assistance, stipend, stock, and lodging are offered as part of the benefits package. **
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $125000.00
Compensation: $115-$125K + $10K relocation assistance (If someone who is higher than 5+ years we can look at higher pay range)
•\tThis comes on their first check (they are not hiring moving vans, etc. this is taxed)
•\tThey will get stock - $3,000 RSU’s - investment period in their offer letter
•\tYou get a stipend (tax free amount) that they get on their check every month - $17000/year
•\tBenefits: Unlimited PTO, no 401K match – they have some production goals to hit and manufacturing of satellites in R&D design to the technology proven
Start Date: January 1st (if we could find someone to relocate sooner, they could have them start 2024)
