Then keep on reading! Danfoss Climate Solutions is looking for a dedicated Test Automative Engineer with an innovative mindset to join our dedicated engineering team in the Commercial Compressor, Electronics and Controls department.

 

Reporting directly to the R&D Director, you will embark on an exciting journey to enhance your skills and gain hands-on experience. This position offers a unique opportunity for professional growth in a supportive and innovative team setting.

 

The position is based in Nordborg, Denmark, with a hybrid work model, where we support flexible work arrangements.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing solutions for frequency inverters and compressor control applications. Your responsibilities will include creating test specifications, developing automated test scripts, and validating software to ensure it meets customer requirements with high quality and reliability.

 

Key tasks will include:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using cutting-edge tools and technologies to ensure robust software quality. Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and identify defects, performance bottlenecks, and other quality issues to drive continuous improvement. Integrate and manage automated testing within continuous integration and deployment pipelines, enabling efficient and reliable validation of software changes. Background & Skills

This position offers multiple pathways, welcoming diverse backgrounds and expertise. You could be a Software Developer with a strong interest and solid knowledge in testing and quality assurance or a Software Test Engineer with a passion for developing and automating testing processes. Both perspectives are highly valued and bring unique strengths to the role.

 

We expect you to demonstrate:

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Software Development, Computer Science, or a related field Proven expertise in automated software test development and execution Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as C or C++ Familiarity with Robot Framework and TestStand
