Job Summary


To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Mechanical Test Development Engineer located onsite in Austin, TX

What a typical day looks like:

Design and develop test plans, procedures, and specifications for mechanical components and systems.Conduct testing to evaluate the performance, reliability, and durability of products.Analyze test data and prepare detailed reports to communicate findings and recommendations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure product compliance with specifications and standards.Identify and troubleshoot issues during testing and provide solutions to improve product performance.Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing technologies.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.8+ years of experience in mechanical testing, product development, or a related field.Must have experience designing electromechanical fixturesProficiency in using testing equipment and software for data analysis.PCB or high level fixturing experiencePrevious experience creating both 2D and 3D designFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical testing (automotive, medical, aerospace)Experience with CAD software (or similar) and simulation tools is a plus.
