Our goal is to be Earth's most customer centric company, and we are just getting started. We seek professionals who are eager to join an ambitious project that continues to push the state of the art in satellite system design, verification test, and operations.
Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
We are looking for an electrical test engineer who combines superb technical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. You will work with a team of top-notch engineers and will collaborate with multiple spacecraft design, test, and operations teams. You should be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity and relish the idea of solving problems that haven't been solved at scale before. Along the way, we guarantee that you will learn a lot, have fun, and make a positive impact on tens of millions of people.

Key job responsibilities
• Work with key stakeholders across hardware and software development teams to define test strategy and requirements.
• Define electrical component and subsystem test plans as needed to ensure robust electrical designs for space applications.
• Lead the planning and execution of design verification test, qualification, reliability, and production test campaigns for avionics subsystems.
• Support the various aspects of the test engineering team through test system architecture, equipment selection, PCB design, harness design, test system build and integration, and test system commissioning and delivery to customers.
• Lead test system design reviews, test plan reviews, test readiness reviews, and test results reviews.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including electrical engineering, RF engineering, mechanical engineering, software, reliability, manufacturing, program management, etc.
A day in the life
As part of the Avionics Test Engineering team, you will develop and deliver test systems for avionics subsystems for both development and production test. You will be responsible for development test campaigns, which include board level electrical design verification test, LRU qualification test, and reliability test.
About the team
Our team designs and delivers the test systems that enable qualifying and acceptance testing the hardware subsystems for the flight computer, power delivery, and RF systems on the satellite avionics bus. Our team leads design verification, qualification, and reliability testing for our avionics subsystems.
