We are proud of the state-of-the-art, scalable, and performant infrastructure we have built, and we are now significantly expanding our team! **Your role and responsibilities** This position is for a test engineer in IBM watsonx Orchestrate’s end to end automation & test team. Your responsibilities will include the development and execution of test plans. We are looking for an experienced engineer with a background in end-to-end testing in a SaaS environment, preferably with experience writing bash and python scripts for automation purposes. You will work closely with other members of the test and development teams. Above all, we are looking for team members with a keen sense of ownership, resilience, and drive. If you like dynamic projects and enjoy being challenged, if you can make progress when faced with ambiguous requirements and uncertainty (and don’t mind making a mistake or two on the way), then we may be the perfect team for you! **Required technical and professional expertise** • 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on testing web applications or AI-based systems. • Strong proficiency in Python for test automation and scripting. • Experience with testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking. • Familiarity with Linux environments and the ability to write and execute bash scripts. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. **Preferred technical and professional experience** • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar. • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, or similar. • Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or Swagger. • Understanding of natural language processing (NLP) concepts and technologies. • Previous experience in testing chatbots or conversational AI systems.
