Job Description
The Test Engineer is responsible for writing code/scripts identifying tools for functional and non-functional tests and contributing to the automated test frameworks to ensure the delivery of high quality software and products. The Test Engineer designs test plans procedures and code/scripts to accurately assess new products and updates in accordance to product requirements and department quality standards. The Test Engineer will collaborate with other engineering groups to define document analyze perform and interpret tests for products systems components and software modifications. The Test Engineer will contribute to the establishment and use of the build pipeline.
What you will be doing Develop and maintain basic integration, functional, and non-functional tests to ensure the holistic quality of the softwareVerify the functionality of the system by executing and analyzing results from automated and manual test runs; record test outcomes; report defects and results in the test repositoryAssist with the integration of basic automated tests within the build pipeline.Perform manual testing responsibilities, including the creation of test cases and updating existing test plansFollow the peer code review process for test automation code, including completing code reviews for peers and incorporating feedback into automated testsParticipate in planning, work estimation, solution demos, and reviews.Assist in troubleshooting and responding to production issues to ensure the stability of the applicationParticipate in formal reviews of software products, databases, and environments relating to the testing of the software What will make you successful Min. 1 year of experience working as a test engineerExperience in writing automated tests in TypeScript/JavaScriptExperience with test automation tools: PlaywrightBasic knowledge of all phases of test life cycleBasic knowledge in software application testing tools, methodologies, and process frameworkKnowledge of test automation and continuous integration toolsKnowledge of development on Windows/Linux platformsKnowledge of scripting toolsKnowledge of source control systemsKnowledge of build environments and delivery pipelinesExperience with programming or scriptingKnowledge of database technologyKnowledge of regression testingOral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
