Currently we are looking for a Test Engineer 2

 

The Test Engineer is responsible for writing code/scripts identifying tools for functional and non-functional tests and contributing to the automated test frameworks to ensure the delivery of high quality software and products. The Test Engineer designs test plans procedures and code/scripts to accurately assess new products and updates in accordance to product requirements and department quality standards. The Test Engineer will collaborate with other engineering groups to define document analyze perform and interpret tests for products systems components and software modifications. The Test Engineer will contribute to the establishment and use of the build pipeline. 

What you will be doing Develop and maintain moderately complex integration, functional, and non-functional tests, and contribute to automated test frameworks, to ensure the holistic quality of the softwareLead the verification of system functionality by executing moderately complex automated and manual tests, analyzing results, and providing recommendations; record test outcomes; report defects and results in test repositoryContribute to the implementation of the delivery pipeline including test automation, test environments, and securityPerform manual testing responsibilities, including the creation of test cases and test plansFollow the peer code review process for test automation code, including completing code reviews for peers and incorporating feedback into automated testsVerify performance and scalability of the systemActively participate in planning, work estimation, solution demos, and reviewsProvide troubleshooting support for moderately complex production issues or software issues to ensure the stability of the applicationActively participate in formal reviews of software products, databases, and environments relating to testing of the software What will make you successful BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experienceKnowledge of all phases of test lifecycleKnowledge of software application testing tools, methodologies, and process frameworkExperience with test automation and continuous integration toolsKnowledge of documenting standards, practice guidelines and/or standardsExperience with test designExperience with using source control systemsExperience in development on Windows/Linux platformsDemonstrated experience with scripting toolsDemonstrated experience with build environments and delivery pipelinesDemonstrated experience with programming or scriptingExperience with database technologyExperience with Agile frameworksExperience with regression testingGood oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tactGood organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skillsGood collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areasGood critical thinking and problem solving skillsSkilled at using original thinking to translate goals into the implementation new ideas and design solutionsSelf-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completionAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAble to thrive in a fast paced environmentGood attention to detailDriven to learn and stay current professionallyUp to 5% travel time required
