Position: Camera Test Engineer

Pay rate: $70-90/hour

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 12 month contract (W2)

Summary:

The main function of a test engineer is to research and test the design functionality and maintenance of products equipment systems and processes and develop quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Hands-on experience on 2D or 3D camera module test, calibration and characterizationDevelops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as chemical, electrical, or mechanical.Design test plan and perform end to end test setup, data collection, and analysis for setting up test specs and validationImprove test coverage by developing lab and factory tests, including metrology and algorithm developmentModule level failure analysisReview and approve sampling procedures and designs, forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.Experience in E2E production/factory test is a plus (proto-build to mass production)

Skills:

Precise verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilityStrong data analysis capability in Python or MatlabTest automation capability in Python or MatlabImage processing experience is a plusSignal processing for depth measurement systems is a plus

Education/Experience:

Masters degree in optics, electrical engineering, applied physics, or similar5 years professional experience characterizing, testing, or designing semiconductor devices, imagers, depth cameras, or similar2 years experience with bringup and debugging of electronic devices2 years experience with statistical data analysisAbout Actalent
