Job Title: Test EngineerJob Description We are looking for a Test Engineer with a strong understanding of sensors and transducers. The ideal candidate will understand what is being measured and how. A well-rounded physical understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems is essential, as most test set-ups are mechatronic in nature with motors, ovens, and transducers mixed with both static and dynamic structures that can affect measurement. The Test Engineer will also need to repair and maintain this equipment. Strong problem-solving skills are crucial, as the role often involves starting behind schedule and finding problems quickly. The Test Engineer is often the first responder to a non-conformance, and a good problem solver in this position can identify the root cause quickly and determine the necessary information to do so. Solving these problems quickly both saves money and helps maintain customer trust.
