Test Engineer

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Are you a self-starter who finds ways to improve existing processes? Keep reading as we are looking for a dynamic Test Engineer to join our Fluke Electronics team here in Everett, WA. 

As a Test Engineer with Fluke Electronics, you will be tasked with analyzing, developing, implementing, and maintaining methods, manufacturing operation sequences, specifications, and equipment requirements for calibration/test of new and existing products. You will assist new product introduction to manufacturing, support released product, and assist with the retirement of legacy products. You will be a major contributor to and owner of key performance indicators in Operations, including: 5S/Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity. You will be empowered to make decisions, drive improvements, and have plenty of opportunities for career growth.  

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement test systems as needed for new product introductions Support, maintain, and improve test systems throughout the factory Drive internal and external quality improvements using root cause analysis and countermeasures Identify and drive cost saving opportunities within the factory Advise design engineering of existing production capabilities, equipment, facilities, and standard practices to contribute to the development of new designs Troubleshoot and maintain electrical I/O communication boards for various stations Coordinate design changes for existing stations as per product requirements Validate test stations using software and hardware Provide technical assistances for hardware and software debugging Review test results and analyze test data from database and improve yields 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution At least 2 years of related experience engineering experience Good understanding of analog and digital based circuitry and ability to read schematics  Ability to programing in LabView/Teststand, C#, Matlab, C++, Java, etc. Root cause analysis using various Problem-Solving methodologies Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing work and delivering results Comfortable working problems of moderate scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors Experience working in a metric/goal-driven environment Hands-on approach/experience with manufacturing processes preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills; effectively able to present information and respond to feedback at any level within the global organization.
